Audience:
This course is designed for pipeline personnel who will be administering the Operator Personnel Qualification Regulation. This includes DOT compliance officers, Training coordinators, Human Resource professionals, City Managers, etc.
Prerequisites:
It is recommended that the attendee of this course have a functional knowledge of personal computer operation with the Windows® 95 operating system. Familiarity with relational database operation and terminology is beneficial but not necessary to understanding the database architecture section of the course.
Course Description:
This one-day course provides a complete training program for the Qualifier™ Operator Qualification Record Keeping Software system. The Qualifier™ training course is divided into four sections.
Upon completion of the training course, the attendees will have a thorough understanding of the Operator Personnel Qualification Regulation and the record keeping requirements.
The training course includes a detailed discussion of each form, field, and option in the program. A hands-on session is provided during which each form will be exercised to ensure the attendee is qualified on the use of the program.
The database section of the training course covers the table structure used in the relational database and the relationship between each field and table. A discussion of the underlying logic that is built into the program is also covered.
The final section of the training course covers the Pipeline Services Corporation support services.
Course Schedule and Location:
Record Keeping with Qualifier™ is offered in Columbia, Maryland. Training courses may be scheduled at a pipeline company's facility, a minimum of two attendees is required, travel and living expenses for the instructor will be the responsibility of the host pipeline.
